Melbourne, Australia Pinstripe Recruitment Full time

Join a mid-sized Victorian law firm of compensation experts. They offer a client-centric service, and industry-leading expertise yet with a lower fee promise. They are committed to making a positive difference to the people and causes that matter to us whilst fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for their team to thrive.

I'm seeking an enthusiastic, values-driven team member to join a growing Melbourne practice, headed by Accredited Specialists, where you will have the support and training to reach your full potential.

The Role
- have recent experience working in personal injury law, as either a senior legal secretary or paralegal;
- be competent with Microsoft Office. Experience in LawMaster practice management software (or similar) is an advantage, but is not essential;
- be highly organised, display attention to detail and be blessed with good time management and typing skills; and
- be a positive team member and be willing to go the extra mile for our clients and colleagues.

This is not a graduate position, nor does it suit a full-time law student, but could suit an experienced paralegal or legal secretary who is ready to move to the next level in personal injury litigation.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

- assisting the lawyer with the efficient management of personal injuries files;
- liaising with clients, other parties, doctors and the like;
- drafting documents, including claim forms, court documents, briefs and simple correspondence;
- taking statements;
- some digital dictation;
- participating in staff training;
- undertaking research and similar tasks;
- managing diaries and scheduling appointments; and
- undertaking general file management tasks.

A great work culture of collaboration and teamwork exists - along with fun, social activites. An attractive salary package is on offer to secure the best for the role.
