**Job Description**:
**Our Family**:

- We are a family in Manly West with two boys (5 and 7). We are warm and caring employers and have formed long term good working relationships with our nannies. Our boys are bright and energetic, love LEGO and other construction toys, riding bikes and scooting, jumping on the trampoline, scrabble and chess, maths and doing science experiments (sooo much vinegar and bicarb), learning about science and history and playing UNO. We have a budgie and an aquarium but no cats or dogs.

**Your Duties**:

- We are looking for an after school (2pm-6.15pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays) nanny for the remainder of the year and for the right person, continuing next year for after school care. There may be the very occasional 30 min later finish if Dad is working away. Role would include pick up from kindy and school (we have a Kia Carnival for our nanny to drive), unpacking lunch boxes and preparing vegies for school lunch for the next day on Tuesdays and Thursdays, after school snack and activities, supervising baths, serving dinner (some light prep eg cooking rice in the rice cooker, heating up pre-prepared meal, cutting up vegies), home work supervision (there isn’t much of this), dinner tidy up and activities until Mum and Dad are home. Some light household duties (eg bringing in the washing, picking up a couple of things at the supermarket) would be a great help. Grandma and Grandad are local and love an after school visit from the boys too. If the hours are not quite enough we would consider an extra hour per day if you would be willing to assist with household tasks (eg grocery shopping, cooking a main meal for the freezer).

**Our Perfect Caregiver**:

- We are looking for someone who is kind, energetic, child centred and reliable, with up to date first aid certification, working with children card, driver’s license and clean driving record, non-smoker, up to date vaccinations including COVID19 and annual flu vaccination. Start is as soon as possible (including school holidays so you can get to know our routines while Mum is on leave from work). If you have availability there are also 3 weeks of the usual Tuesday after school 2-6.15pm and Thursday and Friday full days (0745-1815) for the last two weeks of April and first week of May and potentially more occasional hours and school holiday hours.
