**Why Your Role Matters**:
The UNSW PASS Program Administrator, a key role in the Pro Vice-Chancellor Education & Student Experience portfolio, Education Pillar, Student Success theme, is responsible for effective day-to-day program administration and communications support for the university wide Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) Program at UNSW. Successful delivery of the pilot will lead into the transition of the program into business-as-usual and will contribute to increased participation and success in education for students, in alignment with the university and portfolio strategic objectives to enhance Educational Excellence and the Student Experience. This role may also be required to work with other peer programs as required.

This is a dynamic student facing position expected to demonstrate skills, knowledge, independence, an appetite for student-centric communications and interpersonal skills to effectively and efficiently support the successful implementation UNSW PASS. This role will provide effective day-to-day program administration including scheduling PASS sessions for students, recruitment and coordination of PASS Student Facilitators, implementing a communications plan and coordinating promotional activities. To be successful in this role you are required to work closely with the Program Manager, UNSW PASS and develop effective relationships with staff and student stakeholders.

**Who You Are**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
- Demonstrated experience providing effective program administrative support including scheduling and/or timetabling, coordinating multiple staff/volunteers and organising training sessions.
- Experience coordinating staff/volunteers including scheduling training sessions.
- Proven ability to work flexibly, productively, and effectively as part of a team while operating autonomously and demonstrating strong initiative and a proactive approach.
- Advanced time management, organisational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and have attention to detail.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse young people.
- An appreciation of the student learning experience and how peer networks and PASS contribute to the student experience.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with experience producing relevant communications for stakeholders.
- An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
- Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
