_**Position Description: Restoration Technician**_

As a Restoration Technician at Golden View Cleaning & Restoration, you will play a critical role in restoring properties and belongings that have been damaged by water, fire, mold, or other disasters.

Working as part of a dedicated team, you will be responsible for providing prompt and professional restoration services to our clients, ensuring their properties are returned to their pre-loss condition in a timely manner.
- **Key Responsibilities**:_

1. Damage Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of properties to determine the extent of damage and the appropriate restoration methods required. Document findings and develop restoration plans in collaboration with the restoration team.

2. Restoration Work: Perform a variety of restoration tasks, including water extraction, drying, cleaning, decontamination, odor removal, and structural repairs. Utilize specialized equipment and techniques to restore damaged areas and belongings.

3. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and follow proper safety procedures at all times.

4. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the restoration process. Communicate effectively with customers to explain the restoration process, address any concerns or questions, and ensure their satisfaction with the results.

5. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other restoration technicians, project managers, and support staff to coordinate restoration efforts and ensure efficient project completion. Assist team members as needed and contribute to a positive work environment.

6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of restoration activities, including work performed, materials used, and any additional services provided. Complete detailed reports and documentation for each restoration project as required.
- **Qualifications and Experience**:_
- Year 11 or equivalent.
- Certification or training in restoration techniques and procedures preferred.
- Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is advantageous.
- Knowledge of restoration principles, techniques, and industry standards.
- Ability to operate restoration equipment and tools effectively and safely.
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
