Cleaner (Casual)

GEMA Aviation Pty Ltd is currently looking for an experienced cleaner to join our team at Hobart airport.

This position is casual for approximately 21 hours per week, including weekends and public holidays.

About the role:
The successful applicant will dedicated to delivering a professional experience. They will be representing a corporate airline within the airport lounge as a cleaner.

Duties include but are not limited to: end of shift cleaning for the lounge itself and key areas within the airport. Vacuuming, bathroom cleans, window cleaning at ground level, dusting and general tidying.

**Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications**

The successful applicant:

- Must thrive in a team environment
- Be eligible to obtain an airport clearance which will require a police clearance and OzCheck clearance, completed through the airline upon successful employment along with a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the cleaning industry (corporate environment)
- Exceptional customer service and people skills
- Flexible with working hours and able to work weekends, public holidays and in some instances split shifts (this can be tailored to your own needs)
- Hard-working and great time management skills.
- Able to work well under pressure and at times with mínimal supervision
- Exceptionally well presented and groomed

This is an hourly rate paid role under the hospitality industry general award.

Australian citizens, permanent residents and only some long term visa holders will be considered. Working holiday visas or temporary visa holders will not be considered for this position due to the airport clearance requirements.

Pay: $26.00 - $40.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Tasmanian Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (required)
- Covid Vaccine Certificate (required)
