Client Contact Officer

Davidson are excited to be recruiting for a Client Service Officer (APS3) role commencing ASAP, for an initial short term contract with the strong possibility of a 12 month contract extension. With strong partnerships across Public Sector, we can match you with the most exclusive opportunities. This role will be based in stunning modern offices located in the Melbourne CBD, a 5 minute walk from Flagstaff Station and close to other public transport points.
**About the Role**
The role sits within the organisations’ Client Engagement and Support Services (CESS) Division, which provides telephone and online support to customers. All training will be provided with potential to develop your current skills and advance in your career.
Your new role will include;
- Providing support and assistance via a telephone and online enquiry service, providing information on the range of benefits and services provided by the organisation.
- Conducting interviews, gathering documentation and processing claims
- Escalating more complex enquires as required
- Liaising with other internal work areas, external Government agencies and other organisations as required.
- Data entry and ad-hoc administrative support
- Managing time, resources and accuracy of work processing to effectively meet agreed targets and performance standards.
**About You**
- Australian Citizen and willing to undergo background/police clearance
- Telephony experience and excellent communication skills
- Empathy and pride in a high level of customer service
- Must be able to interpret legislation
