Your unique contribution

You will be responsible for material planning and product availability for assigned categories, ensuring dry goods are purchased keeping in mind the lead times and terms of the contract while also minimising any potential risk. In addition to external vendors, the key teams you will collaborate with are Procurement, Quality and Packaging. You will be the main point of contact between material suppliers and Pernod Ricard Winemakers.

This is a great opportunity to join a global company, not only with a portfolio of iconic brands, but with a leadership team who drive the agenda on career development, empowering you to reach your full potential.- Manage supplier relationships to optimise value and service to the business- Raise risks to material availability as needed- Material planning for assigned categories- Dry goods call-ups with vendors based on production plans- Generate and issue purchase orders and blanket purchase agreements- Organise meetings with stakeholders- System Improvements to have better reporting and visibility- Monitor new product development (NPD)- Resolve supplier issues to optimise performance for the business along with Quality, Packaging and Sourcing teams- Support vendor engagement and annual contracting process management by providing critical inputs related to demand and supply- Review processes to identify areas for improvement

- Computer literacy (self-sufficient in Office 365, Outlook, Word, Excel) and ERP- High level communication skills- High level of attention to detail and accuracy- High level of numeracy skills- The ability to keep track of multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment- Ability to adapt quickly and deliver results- Ability to work autonomously within an environment of accountability and responsibility- A commitment to continuous improvement and quality systems- An understanding of performance standards- Efficient time management skills- Effective teamwork skills- Understanding of Material Planning for Dry Goods in FMCG/Wine desirable- Training in the use and development of MRP systems - preferably JD Edwards for the procurement process desirable- Exposure to production planning and scheduling concepts desirable- PowerBI expertise desirable
