**WMS TECHNICAL CONSULTANT**

**Role and Responsibilities**

As Warehouse Management (WMS) Technical Consultant, you will be a key member of the implementation project team. Your responsibilities will include developing a plan to enhance supply chain and logistics performance for major Australian companies through strategic planning, process re-engineering and/or information technology implementation.

You will work with a highly experienced team and will be exposed to exciting new solutions to help customers to transform their business.

**Essential Criteria**

The incumbent must be self-motivated with a proven track record in supply chain consulting and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding client base.

You will be expected to utilise practical, hands-on experience gained in face-to-face time with WMS practitioners.

**Technical Skills**
- Two + years of relevant experience in Blue Yonder WMS implementation.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non
- technical people and manage client expectations.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively with executives and staff members within our clients’ organizations.
- Read and Write Technical Documentation
- Knowledge of programming is required and experience with languages such as SQL, Java, C, Visual studio and Mocca.
- Experience with BY Integrator
- Experience in RF Configuration
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Advanced experience with Blue Yonder WMS/LMS concepts and configuration
- Experience with other WMS/LMS software (Manhattan, HighJump, etc.)
- Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs.
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment and a pragmatic approach to delivering a solution that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities.
- Researching, consulting, analysing and evaluation system program needs
- Identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods.
- Writing and maintaining program code to meet system requirements, system designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards.
- Writing, updating and maintaining technical program, end user documentation and operational procedures.
- Providing advice, guidance and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Any supply chain related qualification would be a distinct advantage.
- Strong academic credentials.

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
