Join the Direct Business Banking is a newly formed team dedicated to supporting micro-business customers in growth, collaborating with distribution partners, digital and consumer partners, operations partners, and commercial credit risk.

As the Business Direct Manager, you manage the Direct Business portfolio, focusing on business customers with lending needs below $500K. You interact virtually, ensuring micro-business customers receive appropriate solutions. Your role involves exploring new business opportunities and maintaining excellent customer service. Your success depends on understanding customer needs and providing excellent service. You develop win-win solutions that meet customer needs, objectives, interests, and the Bank's growth target and risk appetite.

**You will get to do**:

- Build strong customer relationships, focused on understanding the customer, their current and future needs.
- Work to grow customer numbers within Business Direct and meet ongoing financial targets.
- Actively contact with an existing portfolio of customers inside Business Direct, with a commitment to make a certain number of contacts every day.
- Analyse and interpret financial statements and ideally also experience in credit analysis and small business lending.
- Undertake effective business development, networking, and prospecting activities to build a strong pipeline.
- Participate in all relevant meetings and appropriate forums to identify opportunities.

Multiple full-time, permanent positions available as we build out this new team. Ideally, you will be located in one of our Direct Banking hubs in anywhere in Australia. Hybrid ways of working are core to how we operate today with a minimum 2 days working from an office and the remainder can be worked from home if this is your preference. Flexible work options are also available.
