Plastics Technician

**Key Responsibilities**
- Working on Day Shift 6:55am to 3:10pm - Monday to Friday.
- Optimise production performance and processes on the line
- Operation of the equipment to ensure maximisation of availability and throughput
- Quality and testing of product/process within assigned work areas and acts appropriately to rectify issues as identified
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Optimise production performance and processes on the line
- Actively participate in asset care & preventative maintenance activities, performing maintenance and servicing of equipment as required
- Asset management
- Proactively question and challenge process activities and actively identify opportunities and suggestions to improve existing processes
- Execute daily process activities with an Workplace Health & Safety focus taking responsibility for personal as well as team safety

**About You**
- Blow Moulding and/or Injection Moulding experience desirable.
- A Plastics Trade Certificate desirable
- A forklift licence is preferred
- Operational experience in a fast moving consumer group environment
- Experience in a lean manufacturing environment would be beneficial
- Automation skills would be highly advantageous
- Capable of complex problem solving
- Ability to demonstrate strong judgement and decision making
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Well-developed computer skills
- Performs work under limited supervision
