Halcyon Knights have partnered with our exclusive and enterprise grade client to search for a sales / business development professional to join their organisation on a permanent full-time basis. Our client is a huge IT brand with a respected presence within Australia and globally. The work arrangement will be a hybrid model, with the ability to work from home. The focus of the role will be building new business within the large and enterprise markets across the private / public sectors, this role will be focussed on Software / SAAS sales. Our client's brand speaks for itself, and the SaaS offering is limited in competition, making this a lucrative role for a strong sales person, as commisions are un-capped.

**Daily responsibilities**
- Growing the business unit by securing new customers and identifying additional opportunities within existing customers
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets, Generating proposal agreements
- Assessing a prospect's business process and develop a comprehensive strategy partnering with the Pre-Sales Solutions team
- Responsible for the creation of relevant and targeted communications to clients and prospects
- Close collaboration with the Presales Solutions team and Sales channels across the broader business
- Negotiating complex sales cycle to close
- Ensure comprehensive ongoing customer engagement via a thorough understanding of accounts and industry vertical markets
- All deals are managed within Salesforce and in line with the deal management process
- Deal forecasts are reported and monitored on a weekly basis
- Maintain accurate and timely information in CRM database

**Requirements**:

- 3 + years experience in Saas / IT / Software solution sales roles
- Experience doing business development / account management with large / enterprise clients
- Experience selling into public sector (NSW) / corporate clients (Desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sales skills and experience managing client expectations and relationships
- Organised and able to meet and maintain deadlines.
- Ability to identify customer’s business challenges
- Understands financial aspects of deals and presents financial business case in proposals
- Understanding of customer drivers, purchasing/decision processes
- Ability to prepare and present successfully to C- Level stakeholders within customers
- Understanding of complex solutions sales cycles
- Computer skills (ie Microsoft Office)
