The **RSPCA NSW Sydney Adoption Centre**, located in Yagoona, is looking for an energetic and experienced **Customer Care Consultant **to join the team on a full-time basis.

As a **Customer Care Consultant**, you will be responsible for providing superior customer service, advice, and guidance to members of the public in relation to animal adoptions, surrenders, lost and found, stray intake and reporting.

**About the Role**
- Providing accurate and timely customer service & advice regarding animal care
- Coordinate the adoption and surrender process, ensuring that all required documentation is completed accurately
- Coordinate the intake process for stray, inspector and emergency boarding animals ensuring that all required documentation is completed accurately
- Facilitating the reclaim of animals ensuring that all required documentation is completed accurately
- Liaising with key stakeholders regarding animals in care including vets and councils
- Ensure that all animals received are tagged or otherwise appropriately identified
- Cleaning of animal enclosures and administer medications when required

**About You**
- Certificate II in Animal Handling, desirable
- Proven experience in a customer service environment, essential
- Previous experience in animal handling, desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills all whilst displaying empathy
- Use initiative to problem solve
- Work collaboratively within a team and able to work autonomously
- Strong computer literacy
- An interest in animal welfare
