**The role**

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Driver Trainer to deliver operational training to our Tow Truck Operators (TTO). Additionally, given our business model, this role will be act as a mentor to new and existing Tow Truck operators once they have completed training.

This role reports to the State Manager and will also work closely with the Service Delivery and Learning & Development Teams.

As a Trainer you will be required to assist with the daily operational workload as well as training, upskilling, mentoring and guiding Tow Truck Operators as needed. With a strong safety focus you will provide one on one training and support and contribute to the improvement and development of our training model.

Additionally, the role involves:

- Facilitate training packages to new TTOs
- Retraining and upskilling existing TTOs
- Promoting and enforcing safe work practices
- Investigating and resolving complaints and incidents
- Preparing vehicle damage reports when needed
- Managing licensing and inductions for trucks and TTOs
- Liaising with customers where necessary

**Skills & experience**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience in a similar training role
- A strong grasp of adult learning principles and the ability to tailor training to trainee needs
- HR or HC licence advantageous but not compulsory(or willing to obtain)
- Forklift and Elevated Work Platform Licence (or willing to obtain)
- Experience facilitating one-on-one or group training programs
- Innovative thinking and ability to problem solve passion
- Passion for safety
- Flexible and able to work autonomously
- Self-motivated to achieve training outcomes
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
