Are you a motivated and experienced Safety, Health, Environment and Quality professional looking for your next challenge? An opportunity has arisen for a SHEQ Advisor to join our clients’ team based in Botany.

As the SHEQ Advisor, you will play a crucial role in fostering a SHE and risk management culture within our organisation. Reporting to the SHEQ Manager, you will verify the implementation of the Integrated Management System and Standards, local procedures, process improvement initiatives, risk management and reporting systems. You will work closely with employees across all levels and departments to provide expert advice and enable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take a pro-active interest in safety, health, and environment matters
- Conduct regular SHE site walk around and inspections to ensure company and regulatory compliance
- Oversee, manage, and provide requirements for PPE inventory
- Assist in injury management and return-to-work
- Monitor the implementation and progress of the operations training plans
- Represent the Company in dealings, internal and external, in areas of SHEQ and Compliance issues

**Requirements**:

- A tertiary qualification in Health, Safety, Environment or related field
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Experience in chemical or petroleum industry (desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A solid understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements

Academic Bachelor
