**About the Role**

The Head of Commercial Finance plays a key role in supporting Executive teams in leadership of the business and is responsible for financial partnership through preparation, presentation and influence of valuable analytical insights which encourage smarter, more informed decision making. The purpose of the role is to ensure financial stewardship of the Business through engaging in cross functional commercial decisions which will ultimately impact the profitability and cash flow of the organisation.
- Responsibilities include: _
- Build collaborative partnerships with the Vinidex Executive team and partner with functional teams to support commercial business decisions, providing relevant analysis and insights, to lift the commercial acumen of the Vinidex Leadership Team.
- Oversee and manage preparation of functional budget and forecast models that consider key economic factors, channels to market, segments and customer activity.
- Provide Commercial support with contract reviews and establish a process for non-standard project-based customer contracts.
- Work with cross-functional teams in the development and presentation of capital business cases, providing clarity of the financial results and decision support for strategic projects.
- Create and maintain reports using Business Intelligence tools (and excel as applicable) to support business strategic objectives using both financial and non-financial data from various data sources.
- Drive a collaborative team environment, working closely with peers, team members and business leaders, ensuring a whole of business perspective is adopted.
- Lead, develop and grow direct reports by providing regular coaching, support and performance feedback to support their career growth and ability to perform to their potential.

**About You**
- Professional qualification (CPA/CA)
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience liaising with multiple levels within an organisation and inclusive of ability to manage reporting relationships in a matrix organisation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written with an ability to prepare “Board level” presentations
- Demonstrated capability to drive and implement transformational change within area of responsibility
- Advanced analytical skills and ability to bring insight and perspective
- Experience with driving process improvement, automating processes and standardisation
- Strong financial modelling capabilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis Tool experience
- BI Experience (Power BI)
- Advanced Excel user
- SAP experience preferred (not requirement)Jo
