**About the Role**:
The Head of School - Primary is accountable for the learning, teaching program for a diverse population of students. At Whites Hill we emphasise and value the importance of working in partnership with parents and our community to prioritise the holistic development of each child. The Head of School - Primary is leads staff to create a culture of high support and high expectations in all areas of college life.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life and set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Form partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry and business.
- Futures oriented, strategic and actively participate in ongoing professional learning and development.
- Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling and how these are applied in a P-12 educational setting.

Highly desirable skills and experience;
- Demonstrated teaching competency and capacity to provide leadership leading to the achievement of quality and improved learning outcomes for all students.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to develop and sustain productive relationships within and beyond the school community, including students and families from diverse backgrounds and community agencies.
- Demonstrated capacity to use strategic thinking and analytical skills to contribute to educational outcomes and the school level.
- Capacity to manage effectively human, financial and physical resources to deliver high quality organisational outcomes.
