Electrical Apprenticeship

We are currently seeking a hardworking and committed 3rd or 4th year **Electrical Apprentice** to join the team at **ABB Australia**

**About the Role**:
The successful applicant will gain an understanding of how Variable Speed Drives (VSD’s) are used and applied within Water/Waste Water, Mining & Minerals, Oil & Gas and Food & Beverage industries.

As the Electrical Apprentice, within the ABB Motion Business you will spend time training both online & hands on with ABB VSD’s in our Globally certified workshop.
- Working alongside both Electricians & Electrical Engineers
- Complete workshop repairs/maintenance and quotations of full ABB drives products groups
- Diagnose failures in the drives electronics
- Guiding electricians on how to set up/commission the drives
- Onsite work locally & interstate at times when suitable with TAFE requirements
- Small friendly team environment

**What we are looking for**:
ABB is looking for someone who is willing to learn. Punctuality and organisational skills are required in this role. The role has potential to require face to face exposure with clients, as such, a neat and presentable appearance and general good behaviour are essential.

Previous Industrial or domestic wiring experience is highly essential, ability to read schematic diagrams is desirable but not essential.
