**Job description**:
Our state government client is seeking an experienced Information Services Officer (L3) for a 6-month temporary casual contract in their Kensington office.

Role: Information Services Officer (L3)

Hourly rate: $40.46 - $43.44 per hour plus Super

Hours: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Location: Kensington WA 6151

Start: ASAP

Parking: Free parking available

Working from Home: Not available in the first 6 months

**Role context**
The Information Services Officer:

- is responsible for delivering Digital Records Management system (SharePoint) training to the departments end users;
- contributes to course content and build online informational training material;
- undertakes a range of information services activities, such as assists and triages end user requests, prepare communications for the users & general administration duties;
- provides support to internal clients to ensure digital and non-digital records are managed in line with the internal policy and procedures, and external requirements; and
- processes information assets throughout their lifecycle to meet department and legislative requirements.

**Responsibilities and main functions**
The department has transitioned from a EDRMS system (Objective) to a Digital Records Management System using SharePoint. We are seeking a confident, dynamic, innovative and personable individual who is comfortable providing training in groups both in person and online to fill this role which supports the departments Records Management System providing:

- System access
- training and advice to users
- daily system audits
- troubleshooting level 1 technical issues

**Essential selection criteria**
- Strong experience in creating and providing training is essential.
- Experience with a records management system

**Desirable selection criteria**
- SharePoint admin experience
- Objective experience
