**What you’ll love**

You’ll play a crucial role helping us continue to maintain our plant across its essential waste infrastructure in SEQ. In this role you’ll facilitate REMONDIS growth and expansion.

You’ll work as part of a team in this newly created role to help us deliver its goal to improve the effectiveness of our fleet to reduce downtime and costs while supporting the introduction of measures designed to improve the environmental outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review equipment history and recommending changes to component change out schedules where appropriate
- Support and guide a small team of highly qualified mechanics
- Work with key stakeholders to deliver maintenance improvement and reduction in operating costs
- Creation and management of plant reports to track ongoing costs
- Management and scheduling of preventative maintenance scheduling utilising the FleetMex system
- Assist with general plant administration and reporting tasks
- Assisting with inventory management, parts identification, sourcing and ordering of parts

**Who you are**
- Trade or mechanical background desired
- Previous exposure within maintenance planning or plant reporting and tracking preferred.
- Previous experiencing managing a team.
- Strong understanding of maintenance process, benchmarks and maintenance improvement methodologies
- Financial systems experience is desirable
- Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Logical thinking and effective problem-solving capacity
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
