**About the Role**

**Exciting opportunity for an Advisor Projects & Incentives to join Create NSW within the Department of Enterprise Investment & Trade, based in Sydney.**

Part of the Department of Enterprise, Industry and Trade cluster, Create NSW focusses specifically on achieving the NSW Government’s priority of fostering excellence in arts, music, screen and culture in NSW. We work collaboratively with artists and arts workers, the arts and cultural sector and our partners within government to provide a range of support services including management of grants of varying scales to recipient government and non-government organisations; overseeing more than $2.5b in cultural infrastructure projects to create the spaces where arts can flourish; and managing a portfolio of arts and heritage properties predominantly leased to cultural organisations.

Screen NSW is established to assist, promote and strengthen the screen industry in NSW. Through its funding programs and skilled staff, Screen NSW:

- Supports the screen production sector to make quality projects that create jobs and grow stable businesses in NSW.
- Provides advice and information to improve capability in the sector and enable industry practitioners to participate in the global industry.
- Funds and promotes new forms of screen content and use of technology.
- Collaborates with industry to create opportunities; and
- Facilitates all aspects of filming in NSW to make it the most attractive state for screen production.

The Advisor Projects & Incentives coordinates the strategic delivery of funding projects and initiatives related to Post, Digital and Visual effects and Digital Games and the NSW screen sector generally.

Key accountabilities include:

- Coordination of the administration and data/information systems relevant to funding/rebate programs.
- Providing information and advice to international and domestic producers and local PDV and games businesses regarding the PDV & digital games rebate and related programs.
- Ensuring accurate reporting and communications are prepared and reviewed in a timely way to respond to requests.
- Driving continuous improvement via reviews and program/project evaluations
- Contributing to broader projects and programs that enhance the vibrancy and viability of the screen sector in NSW.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have knowledge of the screen sector and previous experience with funding assessments and associated contract administration. You will also possess sound expertise with database/information and record management systems.
