Sanctuary Recruitment is recruiting a Facility Manager to join an established aged care provider due to the retirement of the previous manager.
This reputable Aged Care provider offers modern, high-quality facilities, a well-structured environment and a longstanding supportive team. Located in the beautiful Northern Beaches, this is the perfect opportunity for either an experienced Facility Manager or a Senior Care Manager ready to take their next step into Facility Management.
With 60+ beds this medium sized facility is looking for a Facility Manager with strong leadership qualities and the energy and desire to build relationships and take the delivery of care and services to the next level. The facility is fully accredited and has an excellent support system in place with two experienced Care Managers, a Quality and Education Coordinator, Roster Coordinator and a stable team of RN’s and Carers.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Excellent communication skills with your team creating a positive workplace culture.
- Influential leadership skills providing staff with feedback conducting regular performance reviews.
- Business Development skills confidently networking with key stake holders to exceed KPIs and increase occupancy.
- Experience with aged care accreditation standards, legislation and understanding aged care funding.
- Ability to put in place systems and processes to improve the day to day running of the facility.
- Successfully follow the Work Health and Safety policy working within the Risk Management Framework.
- Leadership skills and a genuine care for aged care residents.
- Ability to positively inspire and build team morale following Aged Care guidelines.
- Budgeting and financial management acumen achieving KPIs
- Build and maintain quality relationships with residents, families and key stakeholders.
- NDIS Workers Screening check or willing to obtain.
