Civil Maintenance

Based out of our Hoppers Crossing depot
- Band 2 salary of $68,356.55 plus super and fortnightly RDO

**A bit about the role**

As part of Wyndham Councils Roads and Maintenance Department, you will:

- Fulfill daily allocated tasks in maintaining trees, gardens, parks, sporting fields, plantations drains and/or road reserves
- Take responsibility for the care of plant, tools and equipment, including fuel, lubrication and fluid levels as required
- Act on or report observed situations requiring maintenance attention
- Provide a positive personal contribution to the successful operation of the team

**What you will bring**
- Current truck licence with experience in driving trucks up to 13.9T
- Competence in pavement patching including use of screed board, roller and vibrating plate compactor
- Competence in use of small plant
- Competence in working on roads and traffic control
- Ability to work with other employees and deal with the public in a courteous manner
- Knowledge of road maintenance techniques
- Knowledge of flowcon and vibrating roller
- Certificate of Competency - Backhoe/Loader
