**The Role**
Within the Logistics Management function an APS 3 Logistics Officer is accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve straightforward logistics inventory management work within an integrated workforce. They are accountable to understand and comply with relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence’s mission and policy requirements.

An APS 3 Logistics Officer may be required to provide some limited supervision and support to Defence employees at lower classifications, as well as providing on-the-job training to team members.

**About our Team**
453SQN Mission is to provide tactical freedom to all airspace users within the RAAF controlled areas of operations in a safe, orderly and expeditious manner.

Will have experience in the Logistics sector. You will have good written and verbal communications skills with the ability to work with superiors, peers and juniors. You will be able to establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external agencies. You will have good computer skills, practically in spreadsheet and logistics management software. You will also have experience in warehouse management and the ability to maintain small local warehouse.

You will be required to obtain a security clearance Negative Vetting 1. You will need to be honest and trustworthy able to be issued a Defence Purchasing card. You will need to be able to manage budget and ensure quarterly targets are meet and provide reports and forecasts on current and future expenditure.
