**About the Role**

As a Terminal Operator, you are responsible for loading and unloading trains, marshalling and preparing trains for departure and performing safe shunting duties in the yard as well as forklift driving and a reach stacker.

You will also be responsible for processing freight and operating documentation into a computerised system, undertaking train examinations and brake testing activities whilst above all, adhering to safe-working and operating procedures.

To be successful in this position, you will be a team player who thinks ahead and enjoys a challenge. This is a role that requires a responsible and accountable individual who will efficiently and safely undertake all required tasks.

**In addition, you will have**:

- Full Driver's licence
- General computer proficiency is required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience in heavy industry, logistics or transport would be advantageous.
- Mechanical background is desired.
- Heavy forklift licence
- CV High Risk Licence
- General computer proficiency is required
- Experience in train inspection, ground shunt and track side safety preferred
- Shunt driver qualifications will be highly regarded
