**About the role**:
We are currently seeking an innovative, passionate and experienced arts leader and festival producer to lead our dynamic festivals team. The Executive Producer Festivals role is a key position within the Arts Merri-bek team and leads the creation and delivery of our festivals program, including Brunswick Music Festival, Coburg Night Market, Fawkner Festa, Glenroy Festival and Carols by the Lake.
In addition to strategic oversight of the program and leadership of the team, the role includes developing and maintaining effective partnerships and relationships with a variety of key-stakeholders, management of contractors including production management, financial management, program development and overseeing marketing for the whole program.
This is a fantastic leadership opportunity for a festival producer that is passionate about community and keen to work collaboratively with a small and dedicated team in a great inner-city Council.
**Skills and experience require to perform the role**:
- Demonstrated ability to develop, deliver and evaluate a diverse and innovative festival program.
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse stakeholders and ability to develop partnerships and attract funding to festivals and events.
- Highly developed skills in financial management and contract management, particularly with relation to production logistics, programming and infrastructure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong people management experience including motivating and supervising staff and contractors.
- Demonstrated understanding of Child safety and wellbeing requirements and how this applies in the festival context.
