**Your Opportunity**:

- Work in a small, dynamic team of editors to proof read and edit school review reports from reviews conducted across a range of state schools in Queensland, within set timeframes.
- Use your experience and understanding of best practice teaching and learning within schools to shape these reports to ensure they are clear and concise.

**About the Role**:
As the Principal Editor your duties will include, but not limited to:

- Ensure high quality school review reports are delivered within required timeframes.
- Lead the quality assurance and publication processes for review reports.
- Work collaboratively with the reports team and stakeholders to provide feedback and advice regarding report writing.
- Support and coach reviewers in the crafting of school review reports.
- Provide input to training programs that enhance the quality of review reports.
- Use data to monitor and analyse trends to provide actionable insights and achieve greater efficiencies.
- Lead projects and initiatives, implement reporting mechanisms to track progress and identify risks and communicate these to the Manager, and senior officers.
- Communicate clearly, succinctly, and deliberately, tailoring messages for different stakeholders and negotiating confidently.
- Provide strategic advice to the Manager, Reports.

- Strong written communication skills and ability to quality assure written documents.
- Ability to analyse and synthesise data.
- Ability to provide and receive feedback effectively to enhance team outcomes.
- A great team player who is flexible and able to thrive in a small team.
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks according to timeframes.
- Previous experience in editing is desirable but not essential.
