**About the Role**
Are you a strategic senior leader with a passion for financial excellence? We are seeking a dynamic General Manager of Financial Reporting and Control to join our Group Finance Division. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the Financial Reporting and Control team, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of statutory reporting for the Group and its subsidiaries.

You will provide expert advice on complex accounting transactions and be the accountable owner for the design, development, and communication of the Group’s accounting policies to ensure compliance with all relevant requirements. You will be crucial in managing a team of Financial and Accountant professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

This role will be reporting to Chief Finance Officer which will require a strong focus on managing the core financial reporting functions of BOQ Group and managing the accurate and timely end of month, end of quarter and end of year close process for the financial results of the Group. The role will require the formation of close working relationships across Finance, the Group more broadly and externally and will require strong collaboration, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

Your strong leadership and team collaboration skills enable you to inspire and guide your team to success. You possess in-depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, and you are adept at navigating complex financial transactions.

Your strategic mindset and attention to detail ensure that you consistently deliver high-quality financial reports. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to driving continuous improvement and innovation in financial processes.
- Extensive business and industry knowledge to guide and manage the Finance - Financial Reporting and Control function
- You understand integration and consolidating business activities to optimise cost and margin
- Confident and willing to get 'hands on' at critical times
- Delivers timely and strategic insights to leadership team via development and management of financial and operational key performance indicators. Participates in key decisions as a member of the LT
