**Location**:Brisbane's North

**Key Responsibilities and Outcomes**:

- Develop and execute cost-effective multi-year renewal project plans for the benefit of the council and the community.
- Formulate and implement technical specifications for design and construction project phases.
- Efficiently manage assigned projects and contracts, ensuring optimal performance from contractors and sub-contractors.
- Contribute to the establishment of quality management systems for efficient service delivery and contract administration.
- Develop and review procurement, tender, and contract documentation.
- Act as a key point of contact, providing technical advice to management on project matters.
- Support the development of local suppliers and actively seek new potential suppliers.
- Collaborate with team members and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

**Knowledge & Experience**:

- Demonstrate experience providing specialist administrative and operational advice to key stakeholders.
- Strong people and relationship management skills, with the ability to work positively in a team environment.
- Review technical and non-technical aspects of buildings and facilities contracts.
- Proficient in investigative, analytical, research, and technical report writing skills.
- Well-developed project and risk management skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualification in building, project management, construction, or a relevant field.
- Current C class driver’s license.
- Construction Induction Card competency obtained within the past 2 years.
