- **Lifestyle Assistant**, and support the implementation of our creative and engaging lifestyle program at
- **Broughton Hall**, to support our residents to live their best life and achieve their personal goals.

**Your ‘typical day’ will have you**:

- Assisting with the provision of recreational and social programs that enhance the well-being of our residents
- Supporting the Lifestyle Coordinator in the orientation of new team members
- Assisting each resident individually in accordance with the lifestyle plan document and ensuring information is recorded accurately
- Ensuring all programs meet both residents’ needs and accreditation standards
- Demonstrating an understanding of the cognitive, social and spiritual needs of our residents and their families
- Engaging our residents and encouraging them to be part of their local community
- Assisting with meaningful and enriching activities that provide choice to each person.

**To thrive in this role, you will be**:

- Formally qualified in Community Development, Recreation or Disability Studies (i.e. Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure), desirable
- Demonstrated understanding of Leisure and Lifestyle programming and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Proficient in working autonomously and within a team environment
- Empathetic and can build strong connections with residents and their loved ones
- Honest, helpful and dependable - a great asset to the team
