Our partner is a leading multi-trade contracting company in Australia that provides a wide range of products and services to residential, commercial and industrial customers. It has a proven track record for excellence in the electrical, heating, ventilation, refrigeration, air conditioning and fabrication industries.

The company is growing and looking for an experienced, motivated and customer focused Draftsperson who’s willing to relocate and join the team in Hobart. This permanent, full-time position will be based in Stanton Place, Cambridge, TAS.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Draftsperson. You will produce detailed shop drawings in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk AutoCAD, (and similar), as well as coordinating building services in Autodesk Navisworks, Trimble Connect, and so forth.

**About the Draftsperson role**

**Key responsibilities**:

- You will be involved in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) - produce digital 3d models
- You will be a problem solver that is solutions-oriented individual who can work within a team, receptive to constructive feedback and takes the utmost care and quality in work produced.

**Key requirements**:

- Interest in the Engineering and Construction Industry.
- Experience in 3D modelling software - produce high compelling visualisation.
- Australian Standards and NCC section J (knowledge is advantageous)
- Experience in the Building Information Modelling (BIM) process to assist industry leaders to achieve high quality construction management.
- Computer literacy and experience using CAD software packages is essential. Knowledge of the mechanical services, air conditioning, ventilation, fabrication, or similar fields is desirable as well as experience in CADmep.
