ABOUT THE ROLE (SWIM TEACHER)

Saltwater Swim Schools (Point Cook & Truganina) is looking for reliable, passionate and enthusiastic Learn to Swim teachers to join our family run Swim School.

As a Swim Teacher you will be developing and delivering lesson plans that promote swimming skills in school aged children, combining stroke development with water safety and enhancing the overall confidence and ability of your students.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow our inhouse lesson plans all the while showing us your personality and flare through execution
- Recommend students for level progression as appropriate
- Provide excellent customer service to parents and students alike
- Be motivated and committed to perform to a high standard each shift
- Be friendly, polite, and approachable at all times within our facility

WHAT YOU NEED

To be successful in this role you will have:

- A passion to teach children of all ages and foster a positive learning environment
- An ability to work well in a team and contribute to the open exchange of ideas and discussion
- A self-motivated and customer-oriented attitude
- ASCTA or AUSTSWIM (will be a requirement upon starting with us - we do have courses running onsite each school holiday period AUSTSWIM COURSE FINDER )
- Current CPR Certification
- Valid working with children checks (or willingness to obtain)

Our swim school offers lessons for clients from 6 months of age through to adults. With classes conducted 7 days a week.

We have a pool in Point Cook, with a brand-new facility opening in Truganina in July 2024 and 2 more pools opening within the next few years within the western suburbs of Victoria.

Pay: $28.26 - $40.68 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 38 per week
