Our Commercial Banking business serves over 10,000 clients in the medium to large business segment across Australia, with complex financial needs and turnover between $3 - $150m.

We are committed to understanding our clients, delivering insights and innovative solutions and driving sustainable business growth. You will be part of a Specialised Health Team who have a diverse mix of experience, collaborate well and hold our clients at the centre of everything we do.

Are you currently writing complex credit papers and consider yourself highly skilled in cash flow analysis?

Using your strong analytical mindset, you will focus on analysing and assessing the risk and opportunities on new lending and increases in client credit. You will have the tools and infrastructure to support your team to develop new business opportunities with new and existing clients.

This is an existing opportunity to join a team of specialised Bankers in one of the fastest growth sectors in Commercial Banking. We are looking for people who are passionate about the Health sector and being a part of a high performing team in a dynamic industry.

As our Analyst you will be passionate about customer service and focused on achieving our goal of being number 1 in client satisfaction. This is an outstanding opportunity to further your experience in the health industry clients/deals. Your role will specifically involve:

- Being involved in early deal qualification, risk assessment/discussion and deal structuring
- Financial modelling and analysis of Health customers with turnover between $30-150m
- Prepare credit submissions for new and existing clients and facilities
- Coordination of deal execution through to documentation and funding
- Performance monitoring and annual reviews for existing clients, including reporting of client financial and operational performance to Risk Management as part of the team's compliance package
- Working closely with Bankers, Account Managers, Risk Officers and Product Specialists to meet client requirement

To be successful you need to be self-driven, collaborative and highly adaptable.

In this team you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to sophisticated corporate banking clients and work with some of the most skilled and specialised Health Industry Bankers. Some of the key capabilities & experience we’re looking for are:

- Previous experience writing and analysing credit transactions
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, as well as manage projects across clients and key stakeholders both internal and external to the Bank
- Well-developed financial analysis and modelling skills (including forecasting)
- Ability to quickly grasp complex transactions and forms reasonable risk assessments to support credit assessment
- Current or prior experience in the Health Sector is preferable
- A tertiary qualification in Business/Finance and/or Commerce would be highly regarded
