Based from our Welshpool Branch, we currently have a full time opportunity for a Factory Sorter to join our branch to assist in the day-to-day operation of our recycling facility. We are looking for a get up and go team player who will always strive to get the job done, safely and within the required time-frames.
**Role responsibilities**:
- Ensure facility is maintained to a clean standard at all times
- Emptying of pallets and container bins
- Ensure all stock is returned to the correct place
- Check loads are secure
- Stack empty pallets
- Moving goods packed on pallets or crates around the facility
- Assist in the unloading and reloading of local trucks
- Loading of export containers and semi-trailers to allowed load limits
- Operation of shredding and bailing equipment in accordance with standards
- Check quality of incoming and outgoing materials and report any non-compliance to the supervisor
**To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following**:
- Preferably holding a current Forklift licence
- Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Be able to work autonomously and independently
- Ability to ensure that service’s meet quality objectives,
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal,
- Good Time Management,
- Attention to detail
