We have served our community through our Op Shops in Tanilba Bay since 2009, in Cardiff since 2019, Warners Bay in 2021, Woodrising in 2023 and looking towards serving more communities in the near future.

**About you**:
You may have recent retail experience, or maybe not. While relevant industry experience and tertiary qualifications in Retail, Business, Marketing or related fields will be highly regarded, we are open to applicants with relevant transferable skills.

What is essential is your drive, passion for outstanding customer service and willingness to learn and work hard.

You will need to be a person with high energy and physically fit as this role is very hands on and requires regular manual handling.

These roles may be ideal for a Mum or Retiree looking to re-enter the workforce or a Uni student looking for weekend work.

**About the job**:
At each of our Op Shops we sell a unique mix of pre-loved and brand-new items and have created shops where the good things to be found go beyond great products at affordable prices to outstanding customer service that includes real care for our customers as people.

We are looking to for **several Casual employees** to work a variety of shifts across our 3 Lake Macquarie Op Shops located at Cardiff, Warners Bay and Woodrising. Shifts vary from 3 - 8 hours in length from 9am to 5pm 7 days a week.

**What you will do in this job**:

- Provide outstanding service to customers and donors
- Work with your team to complete daily operations including
- stock rotation and pricing
- visual merchandising and store presentation including cleaning and tidying
- posting daily on our social media sites to build a strong following
- accepting and processing of donations
- Meet sales targets and organisational KPI’s
- Follow and promote company policies including WHS
- Coordinate with colleagues from other departments of Church 4 Life Charities

- Physically fit and energetic
- Good visual merchandising skills with attention to detail
- Hold a current Senior Food Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Have a current Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Willing to work in an overtly Christian organisation
- Strong alignment with the Values of Church 4 Life Charities
