As a motor claims consultant, you will be first point of contact for customers calling about their motor insurance claims.

**YOUR ROLE**

We’re looking for multiple motor claims consultants to join the claims team based in Wollongong NSW on a full-time permanent basis. Your main objective will be to assist customers by navigating through the claims process. This will include responding to high volume of calls from both customers and suppliers.

Your IAG journey commences on Friday 28 July with a comprehensive, 7-week induction in the IAG offices (fully paid). After three months, employees can enjoy the benefits of flexible work arrangements, with the requirement of being in the office reduced to just one day per month. You will work Monday to Friday, 9:00am
- 5:30pm with some flexibility.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Effectively communicate with customers and diffuse conflict situations
- Strong customer focus including well developed customer service skills
- intermediate computer skills - ability to troubleshoot
- Good attention to detail
- Confidence to make decisions

You’ll be operating in a fast-paced environment with customers that have experienced a motor claim. High level of communication, displaying empathy and the ability to be resilient is an absolute must. In return you’ll be part of an engaging team that makes a difference.
