**About the Role**

Our **Agribusiness team** are looking for an experienced **Agribusiness Manager** to join a rewarding unit, to manage a diverse portfolio of SME customers.

**The role**

As an **Agribusiness Manager, **you will be responsible for pro-active management of Agribusiness relationships, providing fully integrated corporate solutions, and full portfolio management via growth through existing customer relationships, acquisition of new customers and expense management.

Using your business development and relationship management skills, you will provide financial advisory services, fully integrated financial solutions, and risk management for customers.

You will ensure success through understanding our client's unique businesses, communicating effectively, making timely decisions, utilising your strong commercial acumen, and driving innovation.

**The role and day to day will include**:

- Developing and managing a portfolio of agribusiness customers
- Assessing economic value and risk potential of new business
- Educating customers about their business options and providing sound advice about risk and opportunities for growth
- Proactively calling on networks of contacts to help identify new business and referral opportunities
- Implementing initiatives to support customer acquisition in my local market
- Utilise your networks within pre-farmgate and post-farmgate local markets
- Maintain and enhance the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio
- Coach and support the team to ensure efficient high quality customer service

**What you will bring**:

- Drive and tenacity
- Experience in all aspects for financial analysis
- Passion for relationship management
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar Agribusiness Banker role preferred
- Experience and knowledge of Agribusiness banking and/or credit assessment
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business or related discipline
