**The Role**

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Bank Reconciliation Officer, to join our Finance Team. The role requires experience working in a multi-site retail business with complex banking systems. Day to day responsibilities include reconciliation of all bank accounts for the business, investigation of queries, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring that month end processes are completed within appropriate time frames.

Key responsibilities include:

- Reconciliation of Australian and International bank accounts
- Process daily transactional data from retail point of sales system
- Process and code all manual banking transactions
- Investigate and resolve banking anomalies, by engaging with stakeholders
- Ensure all unallocated items are investigated and resolved in a timely manner
- Identify, document and escalate any banking related operational issues that do not meet company expectations

**About You**

To be successful, you will have:

- Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Experience with Great Plains or a similar sized integrated ERP system will be highly regarded
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel
- Strong numerical skills
- Highly organized, good time management and prioritization skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Effective and clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven skills using your initiative and being proactive
- Ability to understand and resolve issues
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Consistent ability to meet deadlines
