- Bristile Roofing, a company in the Brickworks Group, which provides roofing services to builders nationally, is seeking to appoint an Laboratory Technician at our Bristile Roofing site in Dandenong, Victoria.
- Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be assisting the Quality Manager with the implementation of quality assurance system and ensure raw materials, manufacture process, semi-finish and finished products meet Bristile specification and Australian Standards. The role will also be key in identifying, analysing and recommending action around quality trends and assisting in implementation of best practice manufacturing methodologies.**Duties include but are not limited to**

- Interpret, implement, and comply with Bristile quality standards
- Carries out a range of daily quality tests, include raw material and product performance test.
- Support production team in semi-finish products quality test during production
- Support maintenance team in critical tooling and machine quality check
- Maintain quality database on site, perform data analysis and reporting.
- Participation is quality related production issues. Work with production and maintenance team to resolve quality issue.
- Assist Quality Manager in assessing and investigating customers’ complaints.
- Participation in product and production development and improvement process.
- Conduct and coordinate monthly internal quality audit
- Promote quality awareness in site
- Assist in implementing site quality plans with clear goals and timelines
