We operate various independent grocery and liquor stores, providing a convenient and community focused shopping experience for our local customers. As an independent retailer, we strive to provide and maintain a community focused relationship with our customers. This ensures we continually evolve our product range to best suit our customer’s needs.

We are now looking for a part time Payroll Officer to join our team a couple days a week.

As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the processing of weekly payroll for all our stores. Experience in HR and payroll is a must along with a high level of attention to detail. Situated in Keilor is a fun and dynamic workplace that is welcoming of new ideas and promotes open communication.

Check employee timesheets in Tanda (payroll software) and highlight any issues with manager

Process payroll on a weekly basis for staff on award rate and salary

Process super on a weekly basis and maintain annual leave, personal leave and long service leave records

Assist with recruitment of new employees for stores

Ad hoc admin/payroll tasks as assigned by manager

**Qualifications**

Experience in HR and payroll is a must

Experience with Xero payroll is preferable

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Australia (preferred)
