Qualified Solid Plasterer

We are a company looking for an experienced Solid Plasterer in the Melbourne area. We work on residential and medium-sized commercial projects across Melbourne. We pride ourselves on our expertise, integrity, safe work practices and our proactive attitude. We are looking for someone who has a passion for the industry, who has a keen eye for detail and a sound understanding of job requirements, their own tools, high standard of work, be fit and healthy and possess a strong work ethic, be able to work in a small team and navigate Melbourne in a timely manner. You must have a qualification and worked in as a Solid Plasterer for over 8 years and able to start immediately. We will be conducting phone interviews during the advertising period with applicants who fit the criteria.

**You must be able to;**
- determine plasterboard layouts,
- install insulation and vapour barriers
- measure, mark out, cut and install plasterboard to walls, ceilings and battens
- prepare and secure corner beads
- fix pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings, ceiling centres and other plaster fittings
- cover joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds
- create decorative textures and finishing coats
