**We are seeking an experienced Heritage Consultant
- Built Heritage to join our team at Navin Officer Heritage Consultants.**

**We have a range of interesting and geographically diverse projects in the pipeline, some of which will require travel to some beautiful country locations We operate from our two main offices in Kingston ACT and Sydney’s inner west.**

**Here’s what you can expect in your new role with Navin Officer Heritage Consultants**:

- You will bring your experience in the conservation and management of built heritage to a range of projects;
- You will have a sound understanding of architectural principals and the assessment of heritage impacts;
- You will play a leading role in managing and implementing projects and preparing proposals, liaising with clients and stakeholder communities;
- You will be surrounded by a supportive team and have the autonomy, flexibility and support you need to balance your work and home-life commitments;
- You have a choice of locations between ACT and Sydney.

**Here’s what you will bring to have impact**:

- A relevant tertiary degree in architecture;
- Post graduate qualifications related to the conservation of built heritage are highly desirable;
- A minimum of 5-10 years architectural and /or built heritage experience in historical heritage management; including field investigations, impact assessment and statutory approvals (such as cultural heritage management plans and heritage permits);
- An interest in developing new methodologies for effectively considering and evaluating cultural values;
- Exceptional reporting and quality assurance skills, underpinned by a sound knowledge of relevant legislation and heritage guidelines; and
- A current valid unrestricted drivers’ license.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- built heritage conservation/architectural: 5 years (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (required)
