**Training, Education and Communication Manager (grade 11/12) - Respect at Work Taskforce**

**Your primary responsibilities will include**
- Leading the development and implementation of a multi-year communications strategy to drive awareness of workplace sexual harassment as a work, health and safety (WHS) hazard and aligned to the organisation and government’s objectives
- Leading the development and implementation of training and education programs and resources in consultation with industry, peak bodies, workers and other internal and external stakeholders that?promote high levels of voluntary compliance and best practice among to address sexual harassment across NSW workplaces
- Leadership of a passionate new specialised team including work across other multi-disciplinary teams in the Directorate
- Establishing and maintaining effective program governance, reporting, impact measurement and evaluation

**About the Respect at Work Directorate**

The new SafeWork NSW Respect at Work Taskforce?has been created to take a focused regulatory approach to preventing and responding to sexual harassment across NSW workplaces. Working closely with other specialist and generalist SafeWork NSW teams, this team will raise awareness, build workplace capability and undertake appropriate enforcement action to address gender-based harmful workplace behaviours including sexual harassment.

**About you**
- Experienced strategic and positive leader with the ability to identify, develop and lead talent to achieve business outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communicator across internal and external audiences
- Experience producing timely and effective marketing and public communications projects across multiple channels including digital platforms
- Strong project management experience managing diverse and complex stakeholders, budgets and social outcome program deliverables including aligning with the government and organisation’s brand and comms teams and overarching policies
- Passion and commitment to equity, diversity and a safe and supportive workplace
- Personal resilience, team player and a can-do mindset to overcome obstacles or challenges
- Highly desirable: experience working for a regulator to mitigate harms and/or driving behavioural-change based on robust data, evidence and research

**Key challenges**
- Consulting and negotiating with diverse stakeholders, within agreed timelines, given their varying expectations, viewpoints, interests and sensitivity of projects
- Balancing competing demands to ensure objectives are achieved to the required standards and within budget
- Working closely with project teams to ensure on-going compliance with governance and reporting processes and practices.

**What we need from you**
Salary Clerk Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $139.787 base plus superannuation
