We are seeking a
**Physical Education Teacher** who is an enthusiastic and passionate educator who can inspire students within a physical education environment.
- Aspects of the role include, but are not limited to:_
- creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment which is learner centred, supportive, cooperative and aligned with the Australian Curriculum
- collaboratively develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy
- evaluating their effectiveness; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes
- implementing effective, adaptive, inclusive and equitable practices and teaching strategies in physical education classes
- engaging in professional renewal practices, as required, to enhance student outcomes
- working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school
- maintaining and ordering of sports equipment
- assisting in the organisation and management of whole school sporting events

**Do I have to be Catholic?**

All BCE teachers must have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
If this role does not require you to teach Religious Education, you do not need to be Catholic.

- hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
