**What you'll be doing**:
An exciting opportunity is now available to join the Nepean Oral Health Clinic as a Dental Prosthetist in either a Permanent Full time or Part role.

Your primary responsibility of the Dental Prosthetist is to provide a high standard of general oral health care and denture care to eligible patients residing in the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD).

Within this role you will develop an appropriate prosthetic treatment plan for each patient under your care, after informing and discussing with each patient his/her treatment needs, treatment options and consequences of treatment/non treatment. You will seek advice from Senior Clinicians, when appropriate, to assist in the development of these treatment plans and refer patients for specialist management / consultation, when appropriate.

**All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine (except for the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine which is approved by the TGA as a single dose primary course). **Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.**

**Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.**

**Selection criteria to be addressed**:

- Have current registration with the Dental Board and AHPRA as dental Prosthetist
- Successfully completed all qualifications of Advanced Diploma of Dental Prosthetics
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience as dental technician
- Ability to show high level of competency in the exercise of all the skills of the Advanced Diploma of Dental Prosthetist training
- Good communication skills
- Experience in working in a multidisciplinary team at a large dental facility
- Demonstrated experience in the management of dental Lab technical issues
- A thorough understanding of Infection Control Principles
