Operational Engineering Branch within the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) are responsible for delivering cutting edge capabilities to support ASD’s Signals Intelligence, Cyber and Enterprise Capabilities. These capabilities consist of a combination of:

- Delivery of new capability under the REDSPICE program
- Delivery of ASD's major capability programs
- Enhancing and modernising existing capabilities

**REDSPICE is the most significant single investment in the Australian Signals Directorate’s 75 years. It responds to the deteriorating strategic circumstances in our region, characterised by rapid military expansion, growing coercive behaviour and increased cyber-attacks.**

**Through REDSPICE, ASD will deliver forward-looking capabilities essential to maintaining Australia's strategic advantage and capability edge over the coming decade and beyond.**

**Your new role**

***
ASD seeks a Project Support Officers that has a proven history of working in complex projects and contributing to the organisational capability within the project. Depending on the Level of Responsibility, your duties will include:
LOR3
- Work under general direction to assist several team leads in the delivery of the Project to provide effective administration, procurement and finance support to technical projects.
- Undertake a range of administrative tasks including maintaining Risk Registers, Stakeholder Matrix, and management of Program and Project artefacts within the team.
- Take responsibility for the provision of support services to projects, use and recommends project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking projects whilst supporting programme or project control boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings.
- Work cohesively and communicate effectively with other project team staff and stakeholder groups.

- Knowledge of the Project Management methodologies
- Demonstrated Project Officer Competencies within the ICT field.
- Experience with the Commonwealth complex procurement process, including the tendering process, and managing contracts
