**The Role**
As a member of the Culture and Communications team, you will be instrumental in shaping the cultural landscape of the evolving Defence Intelligence Group (DIG), who contribute to supporting Australia’s national security and strategic objectives.

You will be an active member of a diverse team of motivated individuals who will help coordinate a broad program to realise significant change.

The key duties of these roles include:

- Assist in mapping strategic objectives to tangible change initiatives, with clear milestones, aligning activities, and accountable and responsible officers.
- Assist in design, delivery and monitoring of reporting mechanisms to map the progress of change initiatives, including accountability and success measures.
- Assist in alignment of Group activities and initiatives with larger Defence and Whole of Government change priorities e.g., Culture, Diversity, Inclusion and Transformation.
- Develop and deliver cultural resources and regular internal communications, including intranet updates, broadcasts, formal correspondence, briefs and events.
- Liaise extensively and coordinate effectively across the different enterprise levels, providing exposure to a diverse and, often, senior audience.

**About our Team**
Defence Intelligence Group (DIG) is looking for high performing, motivated individuals to be a part of their small but dynamic Governance, Culture and Communications Directorate.

You will join the Culture and Communications team, which is a diverse, yet specialised team dedicated to shaping the evolving culture of our Group. Being responsible for managing culture and change initiatives across the Group, including those identified through the Employee Value Proposition, we are focused on making the Defence Intelligence Group an employer of choice.

If you join DIG, you will work collaboratively across the Group, the broader Defence intelligence enterprise, the Department of Defence, and National Intelligence Community. Culture Advisors (APS4-6):

- We are looking for highly energetic staff who desire experience in translating strategic objectives into tangible change activities.
- You will be keen for exposure to senior leadership as you assist them to shape the cultural landscape of the Group.

Communications Officers (APS4-6):

- You will be an exceptional communicator with the courage to offer fresh insights and ideas on how best to communicate within the Group.
- You will have the creative talent to help bring about desired change as well as bringing diverse staff and stakeholders, from across the Group along in our transformative journey.
- Communications or marketing experience is desirable but not a requirement.
