**About the company**
A family-owned business in transport and logistics for over 35 years with branches all around Australia

**About the role**
As the Workshop Supervisor, you will manage and lead the team whilst carrying out scheduled servicing and completing general maintenance and repairs to faults on our fleet of heavy vehicles and trailers.

You will have solid practical work and leadership experience, preferably in the transport industry. The successful applicant will have excellent problem-solving, diagnostic and fault-finding skills. Flexible working hours are also required, as some travel is involved.

**Duties**
- Deal with the fleet and equipment - preventative maintenance
- Booking services and repairs
- Plan and manage, oversee the day-to-day workshop operation
- Coach and mentor the mechanics
- Overseeing the smooth running of the service department
- Quality control and ordering parts and completing stock take.
- Plan the day for the technician and manage the day
- Manage and drive technicians' KPIs

**Skills and experience**
- Trade Certificate
- Sound mechanical knowledge and experience
- Sound welding knowledge and experience
- Sound diagnostics experience
- Leadership and management experience
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
- Intermediate computer skills
