**The Centre**
Known locally as ‘
**Allara Street Early Learning**’, our 61-place centre in Civic is rated exceeding in the National Quality Standard. The centre includes a range of exciting, resource-rich environments; herb & vegetable gardens and sustainably sourced outdoor resources. The light filled spacious centre also has a creek bed, water play, Indigenous totem poles, wooden decking and a range of age-specific ateliers.

Our centre is perfectly situated within walking distance to the city centre and public transport.

We are proud to have a culturally diverse team and celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays throughout the year. The community-minded team also organise a range of fundraising events for the children to be involved in. Children have regular visits from their local indigenous community member, who teaches the children about traditional songs, symbols, art and plants.

**The Opportunity**
Working closely with your fellow Educators and Centre Manager, you will enjoy;
- Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
- Developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
- Documenting and sharing with families in their children’s learning and development.
- Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum.
- Professional learning and development programs, career pathways, and a truly collaborative and inclusive learning environment.

**To be considered, you will have**:

- A completed Diploma in Children’s Services (or working towards)
- Prior experience in long day-care
- Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF
- Current Working with Vulnerable Children's Check
