Finance Analyst

**The Opportunity**:
Working in a motivated team, you’ll work with our WA commercial finance team which provides a range of support services to reach operational goals. In your day-to-day activities, you’ll be assisting with the preparation and review of weekly and monthly financial and management reports. This role will work closely with the State Finance Manager and partner with internal and external stakeholders.

This is a permanent full-time role based in our Welshpool, Ewing Street office.

**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Undertake financial analysis & variance reporting
- Finalise the month end result with operation business partner and Finance manager
- Understand operational reasons contributing to performance
- Assist in ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are accurate, complete and meet accounting standards
- Reconcile and critically analyse revenue control accounts to operational ERP systems
- Annual Budget and monthly forecast process
- Maintain effective working relationships with personnel in the team and in other departments
- Review weekly contribution margin/contract profit margin

**What you'll need to be successful**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent with some accounting experience
- CPA or CA Starting or working toward completion of CPA/CA qualifications
- Demonstrated experience within an accounting or financial analyst position with skills gained in a large and complex business
- Experience with SAP, TM1 and google suite is an advantage
