**About The Charles Street Clinic**

The Charles Street Clinic is a busy psychology practice in North Perth.

**About the position**

This position is casual or part time with an initial 3 month probation period. The position will commence as soon as possible. You will be in a supporting role to a Senior Receptionist and Administration Team. We thank all applicants for their interest and advise that only those selected for interviews will be contacted.

**Skills and experience**

**To be successful for this position, you will need to be able to undertake the following duties**:

- Meet and greet clients
- Answer incoming telephone calls including enquiries
- Schedule appointments.
- Use medical reception software (Power Diary)
- Take payments ( EFTPOS)
- Provide receipt and invoices through medical reception software and submit receipts to Medicare
- Provide general reception and office support to the senior administration team, the allied health team and consultants

- Excellent communications skills to enable you to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds across different age ranges
- Inclusive and welcoming to all individuals who attend our clinic
- Ability to work autonomously, and with initiative when required.
- Ability to read people and situations.
- Excellent telephone and client manner.
- Ability to multitask.
- Have previous reception experience.
- A strong interest in health care.
- Experience in a similar health care support role is preferred but not essential.
